34 FARMERS ATTEND ORGANIC FARMING COURSE AT PAU

In a bid to promote residue-free production, Skill Development Centre of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) organised a five-day training course on “Organic Farming” in which 34 farmers participated. The course was held under the leadership of Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education.
The main objective of this course was to motivate the small and marginal farmers to divert their attention towards pesticide-free production for safe, healthy and disease-free life, said Dr Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director (Skill Development).
Dr Prerna Kapila shared the details of the training programmes to be conducted during 2024-25.
Mrs Kanwaljit Kaur proposed a vote of thanks and motivated the trainees to adopt PAU recommended organic cultivation practices in their fields.
