FARMERS HAIL PABI STARTUP INNOVATIONS AT PAU KISAN MELA

In a bid to revolutionize agricultural practices, several startups showcased their cutting-edge products and solutions at the PAU Kisan Mela which concluded today. The event that attracted thousands of farmers and industry experts, provided a platform for these innovative companies to highlight their contributions to the agricultural sector.
Among the standout exhibits was a mobile application developed by Apni Kheti; it provided a digital platform that enabled farmers to have access to the right information and market linkages, at the right time, from the right sources. On this occasion, Apni Kheti also launched a new platform, namely “E-Marketing Place.”
Another highlight was Master Brain Agro Ind. Pvt. Ltd ‘s rainbow spray machine which was a self-propelled 4X4 auto-rotate spray gun machine, used for spraying pesticides uniformly in fields.
Agsure Innovations Pvt. Ltd., specializing in supply chain management, showcased their A D&D platform for the fruit and vegetable cart vendors, helping the farmers sell their produce directly to the cart vendors, thus, removing middlemen and increasing their income.
Meanwhile, Dusky Tarte LLP, B-Treat Natural Products Pvt. Ltd.; A One Swaadumlabh Production and Training Institute, Amolk; and Gill Food Products also introduced their products at PAU Kisan Mela and got feedback from the consumers.
Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, said that the Kisan Mela served as a testament to the growing synergy between technology and agriculture, with startups playing a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency in farming practices. He lauded startups for participating in the mela, and encouraged them to keep participating in these types of events.
Dr Poonam A Sachdev, Co-PI, PABI, informed that the visitors hailed these initiatives for their potential to enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability in the agricultural sector, signaling a promising future for agri-tech advancements.
